The Australasian Society of Forensic Document Examiners, Incorporated, although founded in 1980 under the name Australian Society of Forensic Document Examiners, is a completely separate entity from the Australian Society of Forensic Document Examiners founded in Melbourne, Australia in March 2007.
None of the document examiners recommended by us are members of the latter organisation.
Any person who in 2009 claims long-standing membership of the latter organisation, and attempts to portray it as the one founded in 1980 or otherwise to create confusion regarding these distinct organisations, is engaged in deception.
